SHOW RESULTS

From his very first appearances in the ring, Giiotto has demonstrated a level of quality, consistency, and presence that sets him apart. Beginning his career as a baby puppy, he quickly established himself as a standout, earning VP1 Baby Puppy Dog under both Mr G Green (VIC) and respected international judge Mr R Lang (Germany) at the German Shepherd Dog Club shows in July 2024. Progressing into Minor Puppy, he continued his winning streak with VP1 Minor Puppy Dog at the Newcastle & Hunter Region GSDC Inc under judges Kurt Morton and Natalie Humphries, confirming his early promise across multiple panels.

At just 8 months and 17 days, Giiotto was awarded VP1 Minor Puppy Dog at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Queensland State Breed Exhibition under Mr Vince Tantaro (VIC), where he was described as a large, strong, substantial and well pigmented dog of good type, with a strong masculine head, very good expression, and well-developed fore and underchest. Even at this young age, his critique highlighted his excellent hindquarter angulation, firm joints, and ground-covering movement, with clear indication that further power and maturity would continue to develop.

As he matured into the Junior class, Giiotto continued to impress on both a national and international stage. At the GSDL Easter Championship Show (April 2025) under Albert Balmer (UK), he was awarded VG1 Junior Dog, praised as a big, very well pigmented and expressive dog with a very good head, lovely dark eyes, excellent proportions, and very good movement with strong reach and drive. This momentum carried through to one of his most significant achievements at the 51st National Show & Trial 2025, where under Herr Christoph Ludwig (SV Germany) he again placed VG1 Junior Dog and was awarded Reserve Challenge Dog. His critique described him as a large, medium strong, slightly stretched male with a very well-shaped head, firm back, very good angulations, balanced chest proportions, and harmonious, powerful movement with very good reach — a true testament to his quality amongst Australia’s best.

Transitioning into the Open and Intermediate levels, Giiotto has continued to deliver outstanding and consistent results. At the German Shepherd Dog Club of Queensland Open Show under Mr M Eslick (QLD), he was awarded 1st Open Dog SC and Best Dog SC, further cementing his competitive standing. In the Intermediate class, he achieved VG1 at the GSDC QLD Members Competition (October 2025) under Ms Sharon Ballantyne-Gordon (QLD), where he was described as a large, strong male of very good proportions, with a strong head, correct structure, firm back, and very good reach and drive, maintaining a convincing topline in movement.

The following day at the GSDC QLD State Breed Exhibition, under Ms Melanie Groth (NSW), he again earned VG1 Intermediate Dog SC, with an exceptional critique noting him as a large, strong, masculine, well-balanced and well-coloured dog of excellent type, presenting a picture very close to the standard. Particular praise was given to his head, expression, strength of jaw, correct angulations, and overall movement, with the judge highlighting his strong pedigree influence and future potential as a competitive Open class male and a valuable consideration for breeding programs.

Continuing his success across major events, Giiotto placed VG2 Intermediate Dog SC at the GSDC Victoria 113th Championship Show under Mr Mauro Di Festa (Italy), described as a large, strong dog of very good type, pigmentation, and proportions with very good movement. The following day, at the Working Dog Club of Victoria 50th Anniversary Championship Show, he returned to the top placing with VG1 Intermediate Dog SC under Mrs Gabriela Labbe de Bermudez (Guatemala), who praised his very beautiful masculine head, excellent expression, very good proportions, strong topline, correct structure, and harmonious movement with powerful hind drive and good reach.

Capping off an exceptional start to his career, Giiotto was awarded TOP MALE PUPPY SC OF THE YEAR 2024 (GSDCQ Point Score) — a reflection of his dominance and consistency throughout his early development. His results across all age classes, under both Australian and internationally respected judges, highlight a dog of true quality, reliability, and upward trajectory, firmly establishing him as a serious competitor in the Open class and an exciting contributor to the future of the German Shepherd Dog.
