CAVRS Cocker Spaniels is the proud home of ANKC-registered English Cocker Spaniels, bred with purpose, integrity, and a deep commitment to the future of the breed. Our dogs are carefully developed to be well-rounded, healthy, and capable, combining sound temperament with correct structure and natural ability. Actively competing in conformation showing and a range of dog sports, we are continually evaluating our program to ensure we are not only preserving, but actively strengthening and advancing the English Cocker Spaniel.

At the heart of CAVRS is a clear focus — to raise well-rounded, happy, healthy, and confident dogs who are prepared to thrive in all aspects of life. Our breeding program is highly considered, with only occasional litters planned to continue and refine our bloodlines. Comprehensive health testing is conducted prior to every breeding, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of health, quality, and long-term soundness.

As leaders in versatility, we are proud to be pioneers of the English Cocker Spaniel as a service dog in Australia. CAVRS bred the first English Cocker Spaniel service dog in the country, with five now successfully placed and working in homes. These dogs are a true reflection of the breed’s intelligence, adaptability, and exceptional temperament — demonstrating that our dogs are not only beautiful, but deeply capable and purpose-driven.

Due to the care and intention behind each litter, our waiting lists are typically extensive, and we encourage prospective families to submit an application early to be considered.

Our responsibility extends well beyond breeding. CAVRS provides comprehensive, lifelong breeder support, along with professional grooming guidance and structured educational programs. We are committed to supporting our puppy families while protecting the long-term health, function, and longevity of the English Cocker Spaniel.
